In a time of ecological crises and increasing personal disconnection, the need for holistic healing is more vital than ever. This event seeks to revisit the performing arts as more than just creative expression—it aims to reframe them as ancient, sacred rituals that nurture both the individual and the planet. Historically, many cultures have used music, dance, theater, and movement not just for entertainment but as tools for spiritual alignment, communal bonding, and healing. This connection to ritual has often been lost in modern practice, yet it holds the potential to foster deep introspection and promote planetary care. By revisiting these practices, this event highlights the potential of performing arts to function as intentional rituals that align the mind, body, and nature. It invites participants to explore how movement, sound, and performance can serve as vehicles for healing personal traumas, encouraging mindfulness, and fostering a reconnection to the Earth. This event aims to inspire both artists and audiences to view their creative work as a transformative act of healing, not just for themselves but also for the collective well-being of our planet—underscoring the urgency of cultivating empathy, mindfulness, and responsibility for the self and the environment. Organized by Tanghalang Ateneo (TA) in collaboration with Ateneo Blue Repertory (blueREP), Company of Ateneo Dancers (CADS), Ateneo College Glee Club (ACGC), and Ateneo ENTABLADO.
