This event brings together the rich tradition of Visayan-Mindanaoan music to inspire environmental advocacy. Through performances and discussions led by scholar-artists, "Songs for Our Common Home" showcases how traditional music can convey deep-rooted messages of ecological stewardship and responsibility. Participants will reflect on their role in caring for nature, guided by the cultural wisdom embedded in these musical expressions, echoing TALAB’s theme of "Integral Ecology"—bridging cultural heritage and environmental sustainability. Participants are encouraged to bring their own shawl to fully engage in the experience. Those who choose not to dance will still actively participate by using body percussions, ensuring they connect with and experience the rhythm of the music. This will foster a sense of inclusion and engagement with the traditional musical expressions, making the event both educational and experiential. Organized by Katipunan Uban sa mga Ateniyang Nagkahiusa (KUAN).
