Systems of Care and Inclusivity: Creating and Advocating for Safe Spaces in the Ateneo Community (UGH)

This talk aims to discuss the work of creating and facilitating safe spaces for people of different genders and sexualities as a crucial dimension of caring for our community. Through sharing stories of advocates and allies in Ateneo offices and organizations, we look at how interconnected systems embody the affirmation that each person deserves care (given their specific SOGIESC); delve into gendered meanings and experiences of safety, community, and belongingness; and thus deepen ecological and holistic perspectives on care and inclusivity.
