Delving into the realities of fair trade practices in the Philippines, this activity will introduce you to the Community Crafts Association of the Philippines, an organization in the country with the purpose was to contribute to the social and economic progress of the country’s urban and rural poor, with a particular focus on the community craft workers nationwide. Bringing with them some of the products that the organization has, you will get the chance to converse with an officer from the organization to learn more about Fair Trade and how CCAP has been able to implement this in the country, working with approximately 900 artisans located all over the Philippines. Organized by Office for Social Concern and Involvement (OSCI).
